This section refers to the transmission of a Booking Request for Critical or Dangerous Cargo sent from the Container Operator who booked the cargo, to the operator of the vessel on which it shall be loaded. A special version of the IFTMBF message format is used for this purpose.

The response from the Vessel Operator to the Container Operator (Accept or Reject) will be sent using the IFTMBC message format.
